We talk about freedom in poetry and prose.
We talk about sacrifice nearly anybody knows.
We commemorate our liberty with hot dogs and fireworks.
And recite the constitution and its inalienable perks.
But today I discuss with undeniable pride.
That indispensable shriek of honor I just cried.
For 250 years have long since elapsed.
Since the tyrannical hold on our forefathers collapsed.
And I celebrate this victory over those in coats of red.
By finally unbridling that long suffering turtle head.
